Fri 10 May afternoon: 3 PM Opening Service
Rehearsals presumably from 2 PM - Visiting Yes, Guiding No!
2.30 - 4.30 PM No ttuoristic admission, Service only

Sat 11 May afternoon: 3 PM Concert
From 1 PM Tuning - Visiting Yes, Guiding No!
between 2 PM and 4.30/4.45 PM no tuuristic admission (ticketed event)

Mon 13 May afternoon: Rehearsals
From 3.30 PM Uhr No Guiding close to Chancel/Altar area

Wed 15 May 5.: Morning Rehearsal, Afternoon/Evening Concert
10-11.45 AM No Guiding in Chancel and Clock Area
After 5 PM maybe no guiding in Chancel Area

Thu 16 May, Rehearsals
10-12 AM maybe Tuning at altar steps, No talking/guiding in the near
2-6 PM Rehearsal Time at different locations of the church, no talking/guiding close to rehearsals.

Fri 17 May: Maybe Rehearsals, TBA

Sun 19 May Afternoon: Rehearsal/Concert
From 3 PM, the church will be closed for tourist/public admission. Ticketed concert at 5 PM.


94th Bach Festival of the Neue Bachgesellschaft e.V. in Rostock

Embedded in the double anniversary of Rostock’s 800th birthday in 2018 and Rostock University’s 600th birthday in 2019 the Bachfest will be part of the celebrations from May 10-19. It is artistically supervised by Prof. Dr. Markus Johannes Langer, with Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig acting as patron for the project. Offering more than 100 events, the program’s overarching theme is „Counterpoints“. In the following, the events at St. Mary's are listed. General information is found here>
